(WDAY TV) - If you have procrastinated and haven't gotten your taxes filed, here are a few tips to make sure you make the deadline. If you have not filed, you must complete an extension form.

This extension form will give you 6 more months to complete your taxes. You can either file it with a tax agent or on line.

If you do file an extension, you can still send the I-R-S a check for what you think you owe, but if you are short you will be charged interest on funds not paid.

KATHY REINIGER - H&R Block: “Whatever you don't pay and you end up owing in 6 months or whenever you file your tax return you will get charged interest on that money that you owe, because the IRS wants their money.”

You have until midnight tomorrow to either file or complete an extension form. If you do not file an extension you will be charged a penalty and interest on the money you owe.
