Deacon head basketball coach steps down from position

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Surprising news out of Shanley today, Leon Knodel has decided to step down as head coach of the boys basketball program.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Surprising news out of Shanley today, Leon Knodel has decided to step down as head coach of the boys basketball program.

Knodel led the Deacons to a runner-up finish at the state tournament this past winter. Knodel tells us he wants to spend more time with his family and finish his masters degree.
