Hundreds of local walkers are coming together, doing their part for a fundraiser supporting stronger, healthier babies.
The Fargodome was host to The annual March For Babies walk, hosted by March Of Dimes.People of all ages walked for one hour to represent the 64 premature babies born every hour in the U-S.
Funds raised support national and local research for newborns.
Walk chair, Dennis Millirons, says, "that is what we all want is healthy babies, so there is research in the area of genetics, there is research in the area of why we have premature babies, there is all kinds of research that is actually beneficial."
Organizers hope this fundraiser will raise nearly 100 thousand dollars.
