Five local men charged with gross sexual imposition

Arrest warrants have been issued for 5 young men charged with gross sexual imposition. The men were 18 or 19 at the time of the alleged crime. The men are Jean Nizeyimana, Sadam Sufi and Deqow Sufi from West Fargo. Also charged were Korsiba Ali Arot and Adan Abdi of Fargo.

According to social services, two girls ages 13 and 14 say they were sexually involved with the men last summer. Prosecutor Ryan Younggren says the charges do not allege forced sexual contact, but the girls were underage.

Ryan Younggren – Assistant Cass County State’s Attorney: “The facts in this case as I've alleged them lead us to this charge; they lead us to this GSI charge, which is a felony so I am sworn to uphold the laws of the state of North Dakota.”

If convicted, they could face 20 years in prison and would have to register as sex offenders.
