Amber Pieloor has filed a lawsuit in federal district court. She wants it to be expanded to include other Gate City customers who she says were treated the same way.
Pieloor uses a Gate City debit card that takes money out of her bank account.
She claims when Gate City processes the charges, they're put in a different order. She contends this makes her account run out of money more quickly, and the bank collects more overdraft fees.
Gate City President Steve Swiontek (SWAN'-tek) says the lawsuit is wrong and the company will fight it.
