A building that burned down in downtown Jamestown is expected to be built right back up. Vining Oil and Gas went up in flames back in February. An electrical problem in a tractor caused the fire.

Now all that's left are some burned items surrounded by a chain link fence, but city leaders are confident that the area will be cleaned up and the building will be replaced, possibly by this fall.

Connie Ova – Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation: “With all of the growth we're having in this community especially on Main Street. I have no fear those buildings will be replaced. They won't simply be abandoned or left as a parking lot.”

The fire caused more than one-million dollars in damage. It also spread and damaged the adjacent Elks building. No one was hurt.
