No arrests yet in Brooklyn Park triple slaying

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) — Police in Brooklyn Park are still searching for a suspect in Monday's killing of an in-home day care provider and her parents.

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) — Police in Brooklyn Park are still searching for a suspect in Monday's killing of an in-home day care provider and her parents.

Police haven't released the names of the victims, but relatives identified them as 59-year-old DeLois Brown and her parents, 83-year-old James Bolden and 81-year-old Clover Bolden.

Inspector Todd Milburn says no one is in custody Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday night just a mile and a half from Monday's killings. A woman died, and a man was arrested. Police say that case is domestic-related.

Monday's homicides were the city's first this year. There were five killings in 2011, but Brooklyn Park reported a 20-year low in crime in 2011, and violent crime was down 14 percent from a peak in 2006.
