FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A falcon enthusiast in Fargo says an egg has been spotted in a nest on a downtown bank building to which a female peregrine has returned again this spring.

The bird named Miracle has nested there since 2008. She returned this spring without her mate, Dakota Ace, and falcon enthusiast Wickham Corwin earlier expressed concern that the 15-year-old male might not have survived the winter.

A male falcon has now been spotted in Fargo. Corwin tells The Forum newspaper (http://bit.ly/HzkxBs ) that he doesn't know if it is Dakota Ace or another male that has taken his place.
