Gas prices continue to rise across the country

(WDAY TV) -- We are watching gas prices creep higher and higher and that means many discouraged drivers are finding ways to use less gas.

(WDAY TV) -- We are watching gas prices creep higher and higher and that means many discouraged drivers are finding ways to use less gas.

People need to drive places. But some are now consolidating errands, knowing eery gallon of gas is precious.

The average current average in Minnesota, is 3 dollars, 49 cents. That's 14 cents lower than the national average. It's the highest its ever been this time of year.

Steven Clark from Brooklyn Park, MN, says, "I can remember the gas wars back in the 60s when gas was like 17, 18 cents a gallon. 24 so this is significantly higher. 27 so looks like it's going to just keep going higher."

Analysts think gas could rise as at $4.35 by May.
