According to a news release from the patrol, the 2009 Polaris Ranger was eastbound in the south ditch of the highway near mile marker 13 about 7:45 p.m. when it struck an approach and rolled.

Both the driver, Brady A. Weight, 19, of Englevale, N.D., and his passenger, Kyle D. Lien, 19, were ejected from the vehicle. Weight was airlifted and Lien was transported by ambulance to Sanford Health in Fargo, the release said.
