Hastings Man Sentenced to 5 years for 11th DWI

Hastings, MN (WDAY TV) -- A Hastings man is sentenced to five years in prison for his 11th DWI.

Hastings, MN (WDAY TV) -- A Hastings man is sentenced to five years in prison for his 11th DWI.

We first told you about Michael Andrist last July. The 47 year old got into a 70 mile per hour chase on a busy highway. He was swerving in and out of ditches.

Andrist pleaded guilty to the crime. He told officers he was under the influence of a synthetic drug called bath salts. But tests show he was on cocaine and meth.
