The Minneapolis bomb squad was called to Fergus Falls Tuesday evening to deactivate an explosive device. The caretaker of a 17 year-old male found him and a 17 year-old friend putting together a pipe bomb and called authorities.
The juveniles were taken into custody. They told police they were trying to make a big firecracker and planned to blow it up later in a field outside of Fergus Falls.
