MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man faces up to eight years in prison for spitting on a federal officer during an arrest on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.
Peter Laducer is charged with assaulting and resisting a federal officer. A plea agreement in the case was reached earlier this week.
Authorities say Laducer had to be physical removed from a squad car when he was arrested in March 2011, and spit in the face of an officer on two separate occasions after he was booked.
A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled.
