The planes can travel up to 310 miles-an-hour, and can fly as far as Phoenix before having to refuel.
Sanford Health is unveiling its new $4 million plus Air Ambulance fleet today. Sanford purchased two King Air 200 airplanes that will be based in Fargo. Each plane cost $2.2 million. Sanford Health's air fleet includes four fixed-wing airplanes, four helicopters and 125 flight nurses and paramedics
Tim Meyer - Director of Emergency Air Transport: "In Fargo we'll do probably 500 flights with this airplane behind me right here, so there's a big need for that in the region."
