Driver in fatal semi - train collision is identified

Plummer, MN (WDAY TV) -- The driver in that fatal semi - train collision in Red Lake County is identified.

The victim is 65 year old Dale Buzzell of Isanti, Minnesota. Buzzell crashed into this moving train on Highway 59 near Plummer Saturday.

A Canadian Pacific rail car derailed, spilling fuel oil. People within one mile evacuated for two hours and traffic rerouted in case a tank exploded.

Highway 59 at Plummer is closed for miles for now. Crews continue to cleanup and investigate. Detours are in place.
