Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The group "Jews for Jesus," is re-creating a traditional Passover service for people in Fargo.
The service is called " Christ in the Passover." A table was set with items traditionally used at the Passover meal. A group member explained to people each item's spiritual significance.
Sarah Ascher, member of the "Jews for Jesus", says, "i think it is important for christians to know the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, because Jesus was Jewish, most of the new writers of the new testament were Jewish, and so I think it just deepens the understanding of Christians around the world."
Jews for Jesus has presented " Christ in the Passover," at more than 38 thousand churches.
