World War Two Veteran makes Works of Art from Plastic Bottles

When neighbors stop to visit Charlie Teberg of Fergus Falls, there's a good chance they bring along an empty plastic bottle or two. The 89-year old disabled World War Two Veteran, is not only recycling those bottles, he's turning them into pretty clever works of art. One of them: Six months in the making.

When Charlie Teberg sees plastic,

Charlie Teberg – Bottle Artist: “You have to cut the bottom off.”

He visualizes his next late night, get it done creativity project. His latest is his interpretation of the Budweiser Clydesdales--including the wagon.

Charlie Teberg – Bottle Artist: “A bingo marker for a head.”

He uses eye drop, soda pop, vitamin, sanitizer bottles

Charlie Teberg – Bottle Artist: “I have been recycling everything.”

To cut and create the bodies of animals.

Pill bottles to pop bottles to bingo sticks, each horse here and the drivers all come from some sort of plastic bottle.

Charlie Teberg – Bottle Artist: “The main part of the horse, back part is made with a hand sanitizer bottle.”
