BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck residents will vote in late summer on a proposal to build three new schools.
The school board has approved a special election on Sept. 18. Board members have endorsed building a new high school and two elementary schools, to help with anticipated enrollment growth and overcrowding.
The bond issue currently is estimated at $81 million. The owner of a $100,000 house would pay an additional $67 per year in taxes if it is approved.
