Lottery fever unwelcome to those who suffer from gambling problems

Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - The mega millions game is a lot of fun for most people, but gambling can get out of hand. An estimated 15 million people suffer from a gambling problem in the United States.

The mega millions game is a lot of fun for most people, but gambling can get out of hand. An estimated 15 million people suffer from a gambling problem in the United States.

Experts say you know you have a problem when you can't pay your bills or there's tension in the home. Other signs include a loss of interest in hobbies and gambling alone.

Problem gamblers lose an average of $25,000 over time. What starts as a single trip to a casino can eventually turn into an addiction.
