Police respond to two break-ins near MSUM

No arrests have been made in an armed robbery and assault near the MSUM campus. The crimes happened at 920 17th Street South Wednesday night. A group of four males went into this home, assaulted someone, and then stole belongings. One suspect reportedly, had a shotgun. Police haven't released descriptions of the suspects. They and the alleged victim declined comment.

Meanwhile in that same area, two teenagers were caught breaking into a home through a window around 11 this morning. One boy escaped. He's described as a 13 to 14 year old black male wearing a white hoodie and jeans.

Police say the description doesn't fit that of the other crime. No weapon was used.
