The Boys and Girls Club/Youth Commission kicks off the "It Just Takes One" Campaign. It's raising money for programs, services and scholarships.

The club offers homework help, nutrition and fitness programs, a career preparation program and much more. It costs about $1,200 a year to provide these services for one child, but the membership fee for one kid is only $10.

The club makes up for the difference through community support.

Robin Nelson – Boys & Girls Club/Youth Commission: “It impacts our community in the long run. We will have productive, caring citizens as a result. Our efforts are really to enhance the existing school system.”

The campaign runs through the month of April. To donate, visit http://www.bgcrrv.org
