Moorhead man pleads guilty to raping teenage girl

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A Moorhead man accused of raping a teenage girl plead guilty in Clay County court. 52-year-old William Earles changed his plea yesterday.

He's also accused of threatening to expose nude photos of the girl. Earles is already a registered sex offender and the 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct charge could bring a sentence of life in prison.

Earles admitted to videotaping sex acts with the girl and forcibly raping her in July. According to court records, Earles also forced the 16-year-old to clean his home while wearing costumes, including a football jersey and a French maid outfit. Sentencing is set for May 7th.
