North Dakota National Guard leaders visit soldiers overseas

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Members of the North Dakota National Guard leadership are visiting troops deployed overseas.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Members of the North Dakota National Guard leadership are visiting troops deployed overseas.

State commander David Sprynczynatyk (sprihn-suh-NAT'-ik) and command sergeant major Harley Schwind Jr. are visiting soldiers with the 188th Engineer Company in Kuwait, the Air National Guard's 119th Civil Engineer Squadron in Southeast Asia and the 112th Aviation Security and Support Regiment in Kosovo.

The Wahpeton-based 188th has about 160 soldiers, the Fargo-based 119th squadron about 50 and the Bismarck-based 112th about 55.
