BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — Officials in a northern Minnesota county are trying to put a stop to a dirty case of dumping.
For years, someone has been illegally dumping adult diapers in Beltrami (bel-TRAM'-ee) County.
The diapers, along with catheters and other products, are being dumped along County Road 22. It's gone on now for four years in a row, and it's cost the county over $1,000.
Sheriff Phil Hodapp tells KSAX-TV (http://bit.ly/HhGhzw ) that "we're tired of it."
So are the people who keep finding the litter. Diapers have been found scattered from Lumberjack Road to Highway 89.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Beltrami County sheriff.
