ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Prosecutors say bloody footprints found at the scene of a brutal slaying in St. Paul link three people to the crime.
The Ramsey County medical examiner says Andrew Braun's death was a homicide by multiple traumatic injuries. Investigators recovered a sword, bayonet and hammer at the crime scene.
A criminal complaint says one of the defendants told police the three had gone to Braun's house March 18 to collect a drug debt. The 38-year-old was found dead on his porch the next morning.
The three defendants charged with second-degree murder are Carlos Yobani-Flores Amador, Maria Luna and Santana Valdez.
