Minnesota releases updated burn map

The red is a DNR imposed restriction. The orange shaded area of the map goes into effect next Monday. The yellow area requires a burning permit.
Burning restrictions are now in effect in 35 Minnesota counties. The DNR has burning restrictions every spring, but this year they're taking effect about 3 weeks earlier than usual because of the warm spring and dry winter.
The red is a DNR imposed restriction. The orange shaded area of the map goes into effect next Monday. The yellow area requires a burning permit. Campfires are still allowed unless limited by local rules.
