A display of colors and customs can be found at NDSU this week. It's International Week and it kicked off with a parade of flags from some of the countries represented by students at the school. Other events this week include an International Tea Festival and Variety Show.

There are students from 80 countries at NDSU. For students from Iran, the festival is a chance to show a side of their country most Americans don't get to see.

Farzan Rafieyan – Irania NDSU Student: “We were talking about our country, the monumental places, the traditions, the crafts, whatever we have in our country. We wanted to show that this is what we have, not what the media shows it."
