Body Found near Railroad Tracks in Grand Forks

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Crews have left a rail yard, where workers found a body. BNSF railway crews discovered the dead person around 7:30 this morning.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Crews have left a rail yard, where workers found a body. BNSF railway crews discovered the dead person around 7:30 this morning.

The body was near a yard track west of the Columbia Road overpass, north of DeMers Avenue. The person did not work for the railroad. It's possible he or she trespassed onto the property, that is extremely dangerous.

The company halted operations for about three hours. It's not known if the victim was hit by a train.
