Ontario, Canada (WDAY TV) -- The U-S Department of Ag is issuing a public health alert for tainted meat from Ontario.

The ground beef patties may be contaminated with E-coli. The meat may be to blame for an illness in Canada.

New Food Classics made the prime rib patties, which were imported by Sysco Food Services to a distribution center in Washington. The patties haven't been recalled.
