Bloomington, MN (WDAY TV) -- The Mall of America is moving ahead with a long planned, often delayed expansion.

Bloomington, MN (WDAY TV) -- The Mall of America is moving ahead with a long planned, often delayed expansion.

The 200 million dollar project could add a 2nd hotel, more retail space, and a medical office tower with the Mayo Clinic. Financing is still being worked on.

Construction could start next spring. The mall currently has 4 point 2 million square feet of space.
