North Dakota State University says Saturday's practice at Dacotah field is the first of 15 spring sessions. Drills close with the annual Green-Gold game on Saturday, April 21, in the Fargodome.

NDSU beat Sam Houston State 17-6 on Jan. 7 to claim the school's first NCAA Division I football championship. The Bison open the 2012 season at home Sept. 1 against Robert Morris.

Head coach Craig Bohl tells WDAY-TV that the team has a lot of questions to answer, but he thinks the Bison have the potential to make another run at the playoffs.
