Diehard movie buffs have been waiting hours in line to get a good seat at the latest blockbuster, Hunger Games. Ticket holders started lining up at West Acres Cinema at 4:30 this afternoon. They'll be here until the film's midnight showing.

We caught up with the first two people in the long line of fans as they waited outside in cloudy weather. This is the first premiere for one of them, the 20th for the other. The girls liked the writing of the story books. Now, they are excited to see the big screen adaptation.

Jennifer Parson – NDSU Student: “I got the book from my friend and it just really interested me, so when I first started I read it in two days because I was so excited, I couldn't put it down.”

Chelsey Buth – NDSU Student: “It seems so real because, what if it does happen? Where we like break up into districts and we have to fight against each other? So I just want to see how they did the animation and graphics.”

Online vendors report 2,500 show times already sold out for the weekend.
