Perham pride is on display in a big way tonight in downtown Minneapolis. The Yellowjackets are defending their state basketball title.

Hundreds of fans are at Target Center right now, cheering their team on. Perham is the top seed in Class 2A. They're playing Worthington, a team they beat by 12 earlier this year.

Stephanie Vickmark – Brother Plays on Team: “It brings you all together to have that big excitement of the state championship and the way the season went. It makes the town stronger, it makes the team stronger.”

Pat Nordick – Son Plays on Team: “We’ll have a lot of support here, just like last year. We’ve got a lot of backing back home. Everybody I’ve talked to is going to be here; for sure if they’re not here tonight they’ll be here Friday night.”

The game is just underway at Target Center.
