GLENCOE, Minn. (AP) — Relatives say three family members on their way to Colorado to watch a high school play died when their small plane crashed near the central Minnesota community of Glencoe.
Stuart Dahlberg, his wife Ivelisse (eye-vel-EES') and his mother, Mae Dahlberg, all of Minnesota, died when their single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza went down in a farm field in McLeod County Wednesday.
Dahlberg's brother, David, says the three were on their way to watch his sister direct a play this weekend. David Dahlberg says his 76-year-old mother was a classical pianist and longtime piano teacher from St. Cloud. He says his brother was a computer programming consultant. The Star Tribune (http://bit.ly/GFimvJ ) says Stuart and Ivelisse Dahlberg lived in Brooklyn Center.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
