Fargo students get a taste of Native American culture

Larry Yazzie, an international lecturer, educator, and world champion fancy dancer made a stop at the middle school.
It was a rare treat tonight at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School: traditional Indian dance. Larry Yazzie, an international lecturer, educator, and world champion fancy dancer made a stop at the middle school. He and three other dancers wowed the crowd with their dancing to Indian drum music. Their outfits were bright and colorful and resembled those worn by their specific tribes years ago. Yazzie also told stories and played the flute.
