Fargo City Commission gives couple permission to renovate Leef Cleaners building

Commissioners also gave approval to a Fargo couple's request for Renaissance Zone status for the former Leef Cleaners building downtown. Keith and Rondi McGovern will now get tax breaks to help cover the $1.75 million cost to buy and makeover the building into their new home. They could save $130,000 over 5 years with an exemption of property taxes and an income tax credit.
