ND Department of Health launches new suicide prevention website

There is a new website designed specifically for information about suicide prevention. The North Dakota Department of Health launched the new website.

The website will display statewide events and resources, as well as community suicide prevention events that may be occurring around the state. It will also have information about how suicide affects North Dakota, current facts and statistics, and warning signs people can look out for. The website is divided into categories to make it easy for people to find what they are looking for.

Barbara Chromy – EAP Counselor, The Village: “When people have a place to turn when they are feeling hopeless, that any resource for information and many times it's also the family members or an individual that cares about the individual that they might see some warning signs of suicide.”
