Crews continue cleanup and repair after derailment

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- A couple blocks in Moorhead will stay closed until further notice after a train derailed Saturday night.

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- A couple blocks in Moorhead will stay closed until further notice after a train derailed Saturday night.

1st Avenue North from 3rd to 7th Streets are shut down as crews continue cleanup and repair tracks. Two nearby intersections were blocked for an hour, leading to traffic trouble.

The BNSF train, carrying corn, went off the tracks, on it's way to Fargo. About 25 cars derailed. No one was hurt and damage was to railroad property.
