(WDAY TV) -- For the 4th straight year, the South Dakota State women played in the NCAA tournament. And they were part of history today, just not the good kind.

First half, Purdue's Courtney Moses drains the "3". Boilermakers had an early 12 point lead.

Just before halftime, the Jacks' Jill Young beats the shot clock with the floater..she led SDSU with 19...and they were only down five at halftime...

But Purdue gradually pulled away in half two, led by Moses. She made an NCAA women's tourney record 9 threes. 9 of 14 behind the arc for a career high 29 points.

And for the 3rd straight year, the Jacks are "one and done" at the tourney. Purdue wins 83-68.
