UND women taking on Seattle in WBI
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota women's basketball team is making history.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota women's basketball team is making history.
The Fighting Sioux on Thursday night are making their first NCAA Division I postseason appearance. UND takes on Seattle on the road in the first round of the Women's Basketball Invitational.
Seattle is one of two top seeds in the 16-team field. UND is an eight seed but comes into the game on a 12-game winning streak. The winner takes on either Southern Illinois-Edwardsville or Wright State.
