A former NDSU standout and NFL Football player is considering a run for political office. Phil Hansen says he is planning a series of stops Thursday in a possible bid to win the Minnesota District 4 state senate seat. Senator Keith Langseth of Glyndon is not seeking re-election.
Hansen has appearances scheduled in Detroit Lakes, Ada, and a 1 PM stop at the Moorhead Scheels. The 43 year-old Hansen lives in Detroit Lakes.
