North Dakota University System names new chancellor

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - North Dakota's University system has a new chancellor tonight.

North Dakota's University system has a new chancellor tonight. California university president Hamid Shirvani has accepted the board of Higher Education's offer. He was one of 2 finalists for the job. Nebraska education administrator Marshall Hill was the other. Shirvani is replacing William Goetz , who is retiring in August.
