FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Jury selection is under way in the trial of a Minnesota man accused in a shooting outside a North Dakota movie theater last summer.

Forty-five-year-old Felipe Estrada of Dilworth, Minn., is accused of shooting one man and pistol-whipping another in Fargo. He has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.

The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/x81Vh2) that before jury selection began Tuesday, Judge Wade Webb denied the prosecution's request to show a computer animation of the alleged incident based on police measurements and prosecution witness statements. Webb said the state didn't give defense attorney Steven Mottinger enough time to prepare a defense to the animation.

The trial is expected to last four days. Assistant State's Attorney Gary Euren says the prosecution has 25 witnesses and more than 600 pages of reports.
