BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota boxer Virgil Hill hasn't fought for more than four years, but the five-time world champion is training for a comeback.

Hill tells The Bismarck Tribune (http://bit.ly/yUJpFD ) that he plans to fight again in the spring. The opponent, date and site all are yet to be determined.

Hill has had success in recent years training fighters out of his gym in New Jersey, producing five junior national champions. He says the recent death of his father from cancer pushed him to return to the ring at age 48.

Hill says he has reunited with trainer Freddie Roach. Hill was the first of Roach's many world champions. The two have been working together again in California.
