Vikings and Yellowjackets set to square off for berth at state

The Vikings lost the number one ranking in the state earlier this year in a loss to the Yellowjackets, but got some revenge with a win over Perham later in the year.
Simply put it's the game of the year in Class 2A; third ranked Pelican Rapids against 4th ranked Perham. Two of the last three state champions, the winner has a shot at a 2nd state title; the loser not only has its title dreams dashed, but also lose to your arch rival.
The Vikings lost the number one ranking in the state earlier this year in a loss to the Yellowjackets, but got some revenge with a win over Perham later in the year. It seems the whole season has been pointing to this.
