North Dakota holds off Bemidji State 4-3

The Fighting Sioux (22-12-3) advance to the WCHA Final Five.

Dillon Simpson's goal at 5:06 of the third period made it 4-1 and seemed to lock things up for the Fighting Sioux. But the Beavers (17-18-3) got two goals from Jamie MacQueen 19 seconds apart to make it interesting with four minutes remaining in the game.

Brad Eidsness made nine saves in the third period and finished with 26 stops for the Fighting Sioux.

Connor Gaarder scored his fourth goal of the season and second of the series in the first period for a 1-0 lead.

Jordan George tied it for the Beavers at 6:25 of the second, but Rowney answered for North Dakota one minute later and the Sioux added two more goals to take a three-goal lead.

Mark MacMillan had three assists.

Rowney and Parks were crucial in the series for UND. Rowney had three assists in Friday's 4-1 win and Parks had two assists in the opener.
