MSUM Men's basketball vs. Colorado Orediggers

(WDAY TV) -- After avenging a loss to Southwest Minnesota State in the opening round of the National tournament. The MSU Moorhead Dragons set their sights on a spot in the sweet 16.

But they'd have to get through the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers.

Yeah, the nickname may not frighten you. But, they're the top-ranked team in the country, and winners of 16 straight.

The Dragons got off to a nice start, thanks to the freshman Jordan Riever. He hits the corner trey. MSUM with an early lead....

Orediggers went on a run, so Chad Walthall inserted Jake Lindfors into the lineup, first playing time in a while, he scored 5 quick points before the half....

But Colorado Mines is number one for a reason...Luke My-shh with the triple. Orediggers up 40-25 at the break.
