The Riders hoisted a state championship for the first time since 1969,
the school's 2nd overall title. Red River outlasted Shanley in an old-fashioned shootout, 78-74, finishing off the tough grind, that is the postseason.
Red River will hold a celebration at the high school gymnasium tomorrow night at 7 o'clock.
