Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Figure skaters laced up their skates and hit the ice for their end of the season show in Grand Forks.

The Park District and Border Blades Figure Skating Club hosted the 20-12 Ice Extravaganza. Skaters from pre-school through high school showed off skills they learned in lessons this winter. Parents and coaches say it's nice to see each skater progress and learn tricks.

Grand Forks Park District member, Darla Ford, says, "It's fun to watch them having a good time skating. It's a life-long sport and it's good that they learn it at a young age and continue it."

The youngest skaters were just two and three years-old. The oldest, 18.
