FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Former Tulane defensive coordinator Steve Stanard will be the new linebackers coach at North Dakota State.
Head coach Craig Bohl told The Forum newspaper (http://bit.ly/xAvtYA) that Stanard has a great understanding of the Tampa 2 defense, which is NDSU's base look.
Stanard was part of a Tulane staff that was let go after the 2011 season. He also has been a part of staffs at Ohio, Colorado State, New Mexico State, Nebraska and Nebraska-Wesleyan.
